A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I am a retired professor. In my free time I still continue to create art and try different things. When the summer gets here...anytime now, I look forward to getting outside and riding my bike and getting back into some sort of exercise.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because it provides psychological relief through the open expression of strong emotions.

3. What inspires you?

I find nature, color, and anything to do with athletics as an inspiration to me.

4. What/who are your influences?

Other great artists such as Piccasso, Da Vinci, Monet, and other local artists.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

If I could meet anyone dead it would be Picasso and my father who passed away. The current Governor of Michigan would be someone alive I would be interested in meeting.
